The increased diameter easily accommodates bolt-on modifications, including aftermarket cams. While the OEM hose has a pleated interior and a sharp bend, the PERRIN Inlet Hose features a smooth interior and a gradual bend towards the throttle body. This eliminates airflow restriction, increases horsepower, and enhances acceleration.The PERRIN Inlet Hose is strengthened by a stainless-steel support wire embedded within its silicone layers. This reinforcement adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapse, making it suitable for use with restrictive filter elements and high-horsepower cars operating at higher redlines and equipped with big cams.
