DETAILS

The custom made solenoid coil and valve are made specific to PERRIN specs. This allows the valve to operate almost 2 times faster, flow almost 50% more than competitors' designs. The EBCS Pro also works with OEM ECUs without causing check engine lights. To fully utilize the EBCS Pro, an ECU recalibration is NEEDED to ensure no overboosting occurs. Contact our tech department at tech@perrinperformance.com for further info. The PERRIN male OEM connector is specific to the 2015 & 2016 WRX (FA20 DIT). This ensures a properly sealed and solid connection between the EBCS Pro and the ECU. Unlike competitors' products that require additional parts and labor, our unique design saves time and makes for a cleaner and simpler install. The main valve body of the EBCS Pro is made of corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated brass with proper seals to withstand the temperatures and oils seen in a boost control system.

Works fine when it wants to

My EBCS Pro works fine when it is working properly. But the leads on it are so thin and become brittle with time causing them then snap off at the solenoid. I'm on my 3rd one. I've contacted Perrin about the issue. After conversations of with them, sending pictures back and fourth to verify it was indeed installed correctly, they offered to send me a new one under warrenty. However, as soon as I told them yes, they ghosted me. Since then, it's happened again. And thanks to the greenspeed update, I cannot switch to another EBCS without a retune, which would cause me to have to get ride of my flex fuel. Perrin really dropped the ball on this one.

Dontttttt get thisss ebcs better off w Cobb or grimspeed

Don’t get this boost controller it’s a crappy design and will break on you “I’m on my 3rd one” and then when you go to get it warranty they take 2 weeks to respond “haven’t had my car in 2 week” and then they won’t send you a new one saying it was your fault, dontttttt get this, better off with grimspeed I won’t be buying Perrin products anymore
