The OEM driveshaft carrier is held together with soft rubber bushings that break down and allow the driveshaft to move under hard acceleration. The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown holds the driveshaft firmly in place to maintain proper alignment and reduce driveshaft movement.

Enhance stability under hard acceleration by minimizing wheel hop and boosting traction through decreased driveshaft movement with the PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown. The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown fits over the OEM driveshaft carrier, making installation quick and easy. Unlike other parts on the market, no cutting or special tools are required!

The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown offers a solid connection between the driveshaft and the chassis, enhancing driver feel while adding minimal noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdowns are machined from 6061 aluminum and feature a black anodized finish for a lifetime of performance.

Perrin quality is a go

I'll start by saying I have not yet installed this part but will say it's of good quality. I have multiple perrin products on my sti. I will say every part has not disappointed.
Wish the added drivesahft carrier bushings cam as a package deal. Either way very stoked to install this part.

Install took about 45 mins.
Tight space to get Allen keys I but you can tell it cleans up the drivetrain slop.
I have soku solid driveshaft carrier bushings
