The OEM driveshaft carrier is held together with soft rubber bushings that break down and allow the driveshaft to move under hard acceleration. The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown holds the driveshaft firmly in place to maintain proper alignment and reduce driveshaft movement.Enhance stability under hard acceleration by minimizing wheel hop and boosting traction through decreased driveshaft movement with the PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown. The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown fits over the OEM driveshaft carrier, making installation quick and easy. Unlike other parts on the market, no cutting or special tools are required!The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown offers a solid connection between the driveshaft and the chassis, enhancing driver feel while adding minimal noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdowns are machined from 6061 aluminum and feature a black anodized finish for a lifetime of performance. I expected nothing and got a transformation.

I bought these thinking they would do a little bit to improve the driving experience of my '24 WRX, instead the change was drastic. Power delivery is immediate instead of that delayed feeling before, the bounciness the car had disappeared, at least what was left over after installing Perrin's control arm braces, rear subframe lockdown kit, JDM STI pitch stop and transmission mount.
The jitters the cat had from letting the clutch in and out is gone.
This car with the all these upgrades has made the driving experience spectacular, and I'm no longer regretting trading my 2019 Mustang GT in to get it.
You won't regret getting this product.

Easy install, quality product, super fast shipping from the crew at subimods as always, and just one of those mods you don't know you need until you realize as good as the sti drive train is, there is plenty of slop to be taken care of to get every ounce of power put to the ground
