Enhance your driving experience by installing the PERRIN Clutch Delay Valve Delete. This simple yet powerful upgrade removes the OEM clutch delay valve to improve the feel of your clutch engagement during normal and aggressive driving!

The OEM delay valve causes inconsistent clutch engagement and unintended clutch slipping during aggressive driving. The PERRIN Clutch Delay Valve Delete optimizes the feel of your clutch engagement by removing the OEM delay valve in the clutch slave cylinder. Unlike outdated methods that involve gutting the OEM valve and leaving behind a leftover cavity with small holes and a sleeve that blocks the bleeder valve, the PERRIN Clutch Delay Valve Delete offers a smooth, flat surface to ensure easy access to the bleeder ports, making clutch bleeding simple.

The OEM clutch delay is designed to slow clutch engagement during operation. In aggressive driving scenarios such as fast shifts or launches, this can result in unwanted clutch slipping, causing premature wear on the clutch and reduced power transfer through the drivetrain.

Clutch feels better!

Shifting is now more consistent! I also realized that my leg was way too far from the clutch and when this was installed the clutch was way heavier. I could feel the bite point now and shifting fast and normal is smooth. It took me a bit to adapt to the feeling of the clutch. I might upgrade to a stainless braided clutch in the future. (It's the red looking thing in the picture)

Clutch delay delete

Worth every dollar fast and easy to install
My wrx shuttering when fast shifting is completely gone and has even made the clutch feel alot nicer instead harder than a rock to engage

Great addition!

I finally feel like I can drive stick again….

Just buy it you won’t regret it. This in combination with a stainless braided clutch line allows you to modulate the clutch like you should be able to from factory between gears and when taking off. No more slow shifting from 1st to 2nd, no more shaky starts from dead stops or rev hang from not letting all the way out on the clutch when shifting because you can’t feel the definitive let out point.

Simple, easy and worth it

Went on a limb because I couldn’t find any reviews on this. I’m glad I did, I noticed the clutch was inconsistent since I bought the car but didn’t know there was an easy solution like this until I stumbled across it here on Subimods. Simple easy install, just remove the factory delay valve, plug the port and bleed air from the system. Nice smooth clutch feel, slightly stiffer than factory with the valve but it’s consistent. Feels the same every time you press the clutch in. Highly recommend
