The PERRIN bushing reduces the sloppy feeling during quick gear changes, giving the driver a more precise feel when shifting, especially that crucial 2nd-3rd shift. The shifter bushing is solid brass with specifically placed O-rings which eliminate slop but allows for natural drivetrain movement. Simply replaces the OEM rubber shifter bushing that is easy to install with no special tools required.

Good little upgrade

Not a massive change but definitely added a bit of "crispness" to my shifts with my OEM STI short shifter. Great bang for buck.

Good mod

Install is easy enough. Shifts fill a little cleaner. Would recommend if anyone has serious issues with the stock shift feel. Not a night/day difference, but certainly an improvement.

If you’re going to put on an aftermarket shift plate it is definitely worth picking one of these up as well- helps make the shifting experience that much cleaner.
