These are one step colder plugs and are recommended for higher horsepower applications. A higher heat range number does not improve engine performance, it increases the plugs ability to dissipate heat.

Great product, ready to install. there was zero issue with the product. only issue was Subaru's design makes getting to the plug a little hard but that has nothing to do with the product. great plugs!
