Sometimes I think I have a exhaust leak but it's a good exhaust leak! Once it's opened up it sounds thrilling! Also, on certain mid high rpm up shifts and down shifts there's also some pops! I really like this axleback more than the Cobb catback I had previously! I have this matted up to a stock STi midpipe with a resonator to help keep things tame when you don't wanna be roudy! I think it's a best setup for daily where it's not so boomy in your ears causing a lot of drone. There's minimal to none drone going up hills or accelerating lightly but it's not as bad as what I dealt with on the Cobb catback I had previously(Cobb just sounded so bassy and boomy). 3.5" brushed tips look big compared to the Cobb tips that they also claim to be 3.5". The tips took about a bit for me to get used to the look. I also ceramic coated the tips for some protection and easy cleaning on detail days. I hope this high quality piece holds up! The gaskets are also high quality vs the cheaper ones you'd get with other axlebacks! I also used the factory bolts and nuts instead since they looked to be coated vs the included hardware. I don't regret my purchase. Yes it took me 4 different exhaust setups later to find what I'm happy with! ✌️
