These should make you second guess simply adding LED bulbs to your stock housings. The XB LED License plate lights from Morimoto are well-built. Have a virtually infinite life span. An unbeatable warranty, and out-perform other options….Easily making these the best Subaru LED License plate lights on the market today. You have already done an LED upgrade to the headlights, the fog lights, and the tail lights on your Subaru, so does it make sense to keep the License plate lights stock? No way. Now you can complete the package and make sure everything matches both in terms of output intensity and purity in color with these assemblies. With high-powered Osram LED's behind the optical lens – they will be much more effective both day and night compared to the OEM setup. Their UV-coated polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, ensuring that they look good as new for many years to come. To save on cost, the cheap alternatives do not use a UV-coated PC lens and that will become obvious, quickly. We've seen them fade within a matter of months. Spend a few bucks more now, save yourself the hassle of swapping out later.

Fitment Note:

For 2011-2014 WRX / 2011-2014 STI owners this product will only work with the Hatchback model.

May not work with aftermarket trunk applications.

Super bright and looks good

Ordered these since I’m not a fan of halogen lights. At first 1 of the lights did not clip onto the vehicle. I messaged subimods and they responded pretty quick and they helped me out get another pair that fixed the problem! Love the look of them and they are super bright! Definitely recommend as maybe a first mod!

Good little unit

Solid piece!! I bought these to replace a failing morimoto t10 bulb. The design is nice and seems well sealed. I'm not overly fond of the plug as it is a bit long and requires securing. That's not really a design flaw or anything, just the nature of the part change. At best, maybe the design could be altered to replace the bulb receptacle entirely, but it's alright. I will say, if you don't want your plate lit up like a fireworks display, thiese ain't the plate lights for you. They are BRIGHT.

Very clean and bright light. Little tough to pop out the old unit but nothing too hard. Easy to snap it and works like a charm. Would recommend.
