Did you just install your awesome new headlight bulbs to find your DRL flickering? Before assuming this is a bad bulb, if your vehicle is newer than 2010, you likely need a anti-flicker capacitor!
What is it?
These resistors go in between the aftermarket bulb (9006 fitment) and your factory harness. These store the pulsed voltage from your vehicle and smooth the output emitted from the aftermarket bulbs for the steadiest and most reliable output possible.
Price is per one capacitor, you will need to add two to your cart for a complete pair.
I still haven’t been able to install it due to no instructions, me being someone with zero knowledge on cars. If there’s a link or some kind of information that can be sent to me that would be helpful.
Kevin,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review of the Morimoto Anti-Flicker Capacitor. All you need to do is unplug the harness from your existing bulb and plug this into the bulb and the other end of the harness. Then bolt the ground wire to an existing location. If you need further assistance, the Subimods Team is always available to help!
Regards,
Didn’t work great helped a little bit
