Here, you are looking at the Molded Innovations Gloss Carbon Fiber Front Center Console Cover for your 2022-2023 WRX!

The Molded Innovations carbon fiber steering wheel cover is made in a pre-preg and dry process which consists of vacuum forming sheet of carbon fiber into a mold at temperatures around 350 degrees, this process allows carbon fiber to form into a strong and lightweight composite.

The cover is 0.3mm in thickness and will not look bulky after installation. 

The carbon pattern is 2x2 weave with a gloss finish!

Watch the edges

It's pretty straight forward. I did have to add a bit of extra 3m tape to the back lip to keep it attached to base of the center console. On the first side near the shifter I would see how tight it fits and think about sanding down the edges a bit if it doesn't quite fit perfectly.

Love this piece

This piece gives the car that luxury touch yet sporty and ****. Easy to install, very secure and looks amazing. Word of advice before installing any of these pieces is to wipe down the surfaces with rubbing alcohol

Tight Fit, But it Works

Tight fit around the rear end, where the center console meets the storage box, made the install a bit difficult once the tape was off considering the size of the piece. Also visually seems to keep the piece from going all the way down. Overall, though, these things are to be expected with aftermarket carbon fiber, so it’s not that big of a deal. Looks great for the aesthetic I was going for, and noticed no problems with adhesion, the weave pattern, or the epoxy.

Great Product

Fantastic Fit and Finish, unfortunately the 3M taping on the back did not hold well. I even cleaned and prepped the area before install. I had to remove all the tape and replaced with Double Sided Gorilla Glue tape. Other than that it was great.
