The Mishimoto TMIC truly stands out as a phenomenal investment, significantly reducing my Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) even beyond its advertised abilities, achieving nearly ambient air temperature while on the highway. Despite the expected heat soak while stationary, it still performs considerably better than the stock STI TMIC, maintaining temperatures 8-12 degrees cooler, making it a highly recommended upgrade for any enthusiast.
This wound up on my wife's 2012 STI, it was purchased for my 2016 STI, but ended up having to go FMIC, because it was making too much power for this to support. Her car makes 420 WHP and this supports it fine.
