The best part, and the main reason I chose it was because except for where it connects to the J-pipe, it's completely gasketless.
Everything fits together perfectly. And as it goes downstream, it has smaller inner pipes to fit inside of the next one. The front pipe slips inside the Y pipe, and the Y pipes slips into the muffler pipes. So even if the clamps aren't tight, the exhaust would have to pull a U turn to leak. Also you can''t misalign a single thing.
I'm basically tone deaf, so all I can comment on is volume. And this is perfectly respectable. That's it, it's an ambiguously good noise level.
1 star off cause Mishimoto's packaging is bad. Everything is placed in a big box with just a layer or 2 of bubble wrap and the main box split open.
The exhaust gasket was missing because of this and the mufflers suffered a few shallow dents. I don't normally care much for cosmetics, but I certainly didn't pay for an "open box" product.
