This Mishimoto silicone ancillary hoses kit is engineered for Subaru WRX and STI models from 2004 to 2007, featuring reinforced silicone construction that delivers superior heat resistance and pressure tolerance for demanding driving conditions.
Installing these Mishimoto silicone hoses is a straightforward process suitable for most DIY enthusiasts with basic hand tools. The hoses are molded to OEM specifications, ensuring a perfect fit without modifications. For optimal results, verify compatibility with your specific model year and trim. While the installation is designed to be user-friendly, professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with engine bay components or if you plan to perform additional cooling system upgrades. No special tools beyond standard hand tools are required, and the process typically involves removing the old hoses and replacing them with the new silicone versions. Properly securing clamps and inspecting for leaks after installation will help maximize the longevity and performance benefits of these upgraded hoses.
This kit had majority of the hoses I needed replaced but was lacking a couple that I was sure it had, but apparently this kit differs alot from the 02 to 05 kit that mishimoto has a youtube install tutorial for. I would have given a good review if they had any helpful info on where everything goes. Unfortunately I ended up with 2 extra hoses, one of which I couldn't find any hose on my car that it matched and another I assumed was a extra for the coolant reservoir (s shaped) in case you need a smaller size? And one hose I ended up assuming was for the coolant reservoir that goes to the bottom but I had to force it to work because it's a smaller size, same as the second hose I assumed was a backup for the coolant reservoir (s shaped). Otherwise the quality is good and the factory bends line up for the most part.
