Mishimoto silicone ancillary hoses

High quality silicone hoses. Should be quiet a bit better than the stock hoses and make the engine bay look better too

Rusty,

OEM rubber hoses tend to get dry, brittle, and crack over time giving you leaks! These hoses are designed to withstand heat and are more effective with higher pressures! They also dress up your engine bay! Thank you for the 5 Stars!

Does the job

If I could, I’d give these a solid 3.5 stars. Installed on a stock 2003 WRX Wagon (USDM). The hoses are of fairly nice quality and they come with the hoses you need. The unfortunate part is that the hose lengths & diameters are different than OEM so, don’t expect them to fit perfect & be able to put them back into their corresponding brackets/clips (reservoir specifically). Coolant hose to the turbo is a bit too short so it has a bit of tension but holds. The lower reservoir hose to the water pipe is half the inner diameter it needs to be, so I couldn’t install it. The BPV hose needs to be cut in order for you to install it with the stock LaMco boost gauge. Kit comes with no instructions or diagram/list stating which hose is for what, so you have to match them up or watch their YouTube video that kinda skims through the install and appears they have better fitting hoses. There’s also one final hose with a label that I couldn’t use or find info as to where it goes; may not be applicable to ‘03 models. Finally, buy an assortment of clamps, whether it be spring or worm-gear. Your stock clamps won’t fit and the kit doesn’t come with any.
Overall, the kit replaced the hoses I NEEDED replaced and they look pretty cool in the engine bay. Wished for better fitment, listing of hose locations, and the needed clamps. I’ll post pictures. The right-angle smaller hose is what they said was for the bottom of the coolant reservoir. The outer diameter is what the inner SHOULD be. The longer hose is the one I couldn’t install.

Andrew,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Mishimoto Silicone Ancillary Hoses. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that the fitment was not exactly what you were expecting. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope that the hoses are still able to perform their intended job for you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for choosing Subimods!
