The Mishimoto racing thermostat will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. The Mishimoto racing thermostat will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

Very nice thermostat

Install was very simple, gasket felt nice, worked better then expected and packaging was awesome. Car ran around 163-170° for a 30 minute drive

Works wonders

Works as designed, if not better. Noticed immediate difference and results. Word to the wise though, can cause check engine light if you have no MAP loaded. Installed on my stock STI and got a CEL once or twice since it takes longer to get up to temp.

Everything at once

Since everything on the front was coming off. I did the timing belt kit with water pump from gates racing. The kit was great and had good instructions. Oil pump from IAG it was top notch as expected from them and larger radiator from Mishimoto it’s huge compared to the factory one and it mounted up perfectly along with new Mishimoto hoses and belts.
