The Mishimoto drain plug, constructed out of 6061 aluminum at varying thread pitches, is the perfect replacement for your OEM plug. Made with a neodymium magnet, the Mishimoto Magnetic Oil Drain Plug holds on to the metal debris that your oil filter might miss that could ruin your engine, protecting it longer than any other oil plug on the market. Upgrade to a Mishimoto Magnetic Oil Drain Plug today and reduce the amount of metal debris in your engine, giving it a longer life. Each Mishimoto Magnetic Oil Drain Plug comes with a Dowty oil seal to prevent leaks.



A couple of years ago (Late 2010) Subaru began using a new size engine drain plug on some models from an M20 to the smaller M16X1.5X12. If the wrench required to take off the plug is 14mm then your car needs the M16 plug.
