The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit is engineered specifically for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 to prevent harmful blow-by vapors from re-entering your engine. The FA20 engine in these vehicles uses a unique combination of direct injection and port fuel injection to reduce carbon buildup, but over time, oil vapors can still accumulate and affect performance. Tested extensively on BRZs, Mishimoto engineers determined that a single catch can tied into the vacuum-assisted PCV system on the back of the engine provides optimal oil separation for the vast majority of vehicles. For forced induction setups, an additional can on the crankcase vent may be beneficial.

This kit includes the Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a bronze filter, internal baffling for superior oil separation, CNC-machined aluminum fittings, and a direct-fit mounting bracket suitable for both right- and left-hand drive vehicles. Two pre-molded hoses ensure easy installation to the PCV valve and intake manifold port.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in- 2-3NM. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).
