Install was easy and straightforward, and the axleback sounds great on my ‘22 BRZ. No drone on the highway and relatively quiet until you actually get on it. It’s been awesome

So before buying this, ive had many fears of the exhaust being way too loud. I've watched so many videos to make sure its what i wanted. After recieving it (really fast delivery) i fell in love. This exhaust is loud but not too loud. Super quiet while cruising. Little to no drone(cannot hear it at all while driving normal). It sounds great overall. Very suprised. Will say tho, the cold starts are super duper loud. (as expected). Honestly this will be my exhaust for a very long time! 10/10 MBRP! Also thank u subimods for shipping fast! I made a good choice picking this one. The carbon fiber style tips look good with my black BRZ, and it sounds great. Not obnoxiously loud, but loud enough to make the car sound really good. This kit was easy to install with basic tools and minimal mechanical experience. So glad I went this route.

Written by a newbie, for other newbies, if you're after a cost effective axle-back with a throaty grumble that lets your BRZ purr like a happy lion, this MBRP set up is your match.
Installation is incredibly easy, just don't forget to pull the OEM ring between the pipes!
As a total beginner with just a prybar and some ChrisFix brand Soapy Woder, and a simple socket set, everything was visibly obvious and with the included guide is easier than sticking 2 lego bricks together.
Don't forget to re-inspect your positioning after about a week of regular driving in case you need to adjust the downright gorgeous tips after the pipes have settled in their hangers.

You might wake the neighbors with a cold start, but the idle sound level is very quiet.
The stock resonator does an incredible job on its own, letting the MBRP pipes carry your boxer's beautiful song to a wider audience when you do put the pedal down.
You'll be grinning ear to ear on each downshift (or whenever you like, if you've mastered the skill) as the pipes let out soft crackles and deep pops.
Highway drone could be good or bad, depending on your speeds and if you have tuned your car or not. bare stonk; In a place where your speeds are 75 or under, you'll be pleased with near stock hum with the wind being more noticeable, just turn up the stereo and you're good to go.
Going over 75, on I90 for example where 90 is the common pace? Be ready to complain when you get to your destination, especially if you already have a condition like tinnitus.
