This is the M45 Exhaust Manifold To Turbo Gasket. This particular gasket will experience more heat than most gaskets within your engine, therefore, it is always recommended replacing anytime you perform maintenance that requires the removal of the turbocharger. And although the factory gasket is metal, these gaskets can become brittle over time, mileage, and cyclical heat cycles which will make them brittle. Due to the labor-intensive nature of removing the turbocharger, you don't want to double your work only to find out that you have an exhaust leak by re-using an old gasket.
