The M20 x 1.5 to 1/8PT Adapter will allow the use of aftermarket temperature sensors that have 1/8PT threads. Our aftermarket oil pan includes one OEM plug port, that can be used with this adapter, and a 1/2NPT port. This adapter can also be used with OEM oil pans. Measure the oil temperature where it should be, in the pan!

handy if you want oil temp readouts

if you getting fancy with the killer b oil pan might as well utilize all the options and get your temp read out also
