DETAILS

We have all heard the horror stories. You’re just driving down the road minding your own business and then boom. Your engine blows without warning. This ULTIMATE OIL PICKUP uses a .12” thick double bracket, 3X OEM oil pickup tube thickness, and a brace between bracket and oil pickup tube to further strengthen the assembly. This is a super duty, engineered solution. No other vendor has anything this rugged available, although I’m sure it will be copied.

Killer B Motorsport Baffle. Closed rear section to prevent oil from sloshing into the crank under hard acceleration and aggressive shifts. Block contoured profile to minimize oil returning from the heads interfering with the crank. Directional louvers prevent oil in the pan from splash/sloshing into the crank. Low profile design to control windage and strip oil from the crank immediately to reduce oil “roping” on the crank. Improved oil entry to the pan/pickup to help prevent oil starvation. Made from stainless steel for long life, durability, and corrosion resistance. 

So, what’s all this mean? It means more power due to the reduction in oil interfering with the rotation of the crank, and allows it to spin more freely. Unless it’s in the bearings, anytime oil comes in contact with the cranks or connecting rods, it robs power. Reduction of oil splashing and beating off crank & connecting rods will also lower oil temperatures.

Vital upgrade for your Subi.

I saw one review here that was off putting, guy assumed something would work without doing his proper research and then gave a mediocre review for his own mistake and poor attention to detail. I’m here to say that this is a VITAL upgrade for your EJ, IT was the first thing I did on my 07 STi limited and will be buying again soon for my 05 STi. Do proper research if you have a EJ20, and don’t leave mediocre reviews for an outstanding product because you dropped the ball and want to blame the coach for it. 5 star product!

I'll have to disagree with the product description

I recently purchased this pickup and baffle under the assumption i would be able to simply bolt it into the ej205 engine with ANY ej25 oil pan. that was sadly not the case.

without this being the case I would absolutely rate this five stars but without a good way to see if it would clear until installed i am now forced to buy another oil pan or not use this pickup.
