Kartboy Tarmac Shift Knob Kit Brushed Stainless Steel Most Subaru Models

The Tarmac Shift Knob Kit is built on Kartboy's StackLock platform. This modular knob is built around a threaded stainless steel core. The topper and trim ring thread onto the core and can be swapped later for other Tarmac or Gravel toppers and trim ring colors.

This kit is a big ol' boy. It pairs a brushed stainless steel Tarmac (ball) topper with a 303 stainless steel core. At 522 g, this is the heaviest knob in the StackLock lineup. For those who want to know what that is in BEU (Ball Eagle Units) - that is 1.15lb.

The core has a hidden internal 1/2" drive, so you can hold the core with a standard 1/2" drive tool while installing or removing the topper. No special tools are needed.

An internal set screw in the core lets you clock the knob on the shifter so the topper sits at the orientation you want.

The trim rings are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized. A locating tooth on each ring keeps it in the correct position during assembly. Two rings are included, black and red, and other colors are sold separately.
