This Kartboy Short Shifter replaces the stock shift lever in 1997-2001 model years Subaru Impreza. and 1997-1999 Legacy. Overall shift throw is decreased by 40%, providing a noticeable difference and a solid feel. The Shift knob height will also drop 1" as well. Constructed of CNC'd and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. It will install with simple mechanic's tools in under 30 minutes.

Please select this shifter as well if your 02-07 WRX has the pre-installed factory short throw shifter.

You can really feel the difference

The way my Subaru feels now is ten times better than with the stock shifter. Would highly recommend as one of your first mods. Reason for the 4 star is the welds on the shifter itself have surface rust. No biggie, but would be best if you guys could inspect the product before being shipped out.
