Built for performance and show, the Typhoon Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system.

This Typhoon intakes come in a short ram design. K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction allowing more air flow to your engine. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. This intake comes powdercoated in a Wrinkle Red Finish.

Simple Install

Easy to put in and the heat shield seems like it will help as it is between the turbo and intake. I had a different intake than stock, so made it that much easier. Power gain? I don't know, I cant tell. Only been in a day or so , so ill have to drive a little more to tell. Definitely recommend.

K&N Typhoon Short Ram for 2002 WRX

Fantastic quality, relatively easy to install and looks great. Turbo whistle, whoosh, all of the spooley boi noises your heart desires. My engine can finally BREATHE. Exhaust sounds great now as well.
