Exhaust leaks seem to be an all-too-common issue with most modded Subaru’s. They tend to spring up out of nowhere and cause hours of troubleshooting headaches. One of the most common leaks that we hear about is from running an OEM downpipe with an aftermarket 3" catback without a proper adaptor. Use an adaptor that allows you to retain your stock donut gasket for the best solution to finally end that pesky leak. CNC machined from mild steel and zinc coated for durability and longevity, this thing will outlast your car. Don't waste your time trying to get your OEM downpipe to seal without a donut gasket. In a short amount of time, they rust and corrode and will prevent you from ever getting a good seal with a typical flat gasket. Re-use your stock donut gasket along with a new 3" Gasket for a perfect seal on the first try!

Catback Adapter

Adapter worked as advertised. Previous owner installed the cat back system w/o the adapter and there was ALOT of noise inside the cabin. After properly installing the adapter with a new donut gasket the noise was significantly reduced. Installed on a 21 STI w/ Invidia R400 catback system.

I bought this adapter along with the Invidia R400 catback exhaust, worked excellent with my 2021 Wrx. Sounds amazing as well, Rev match and downshifts have some nice pops...so very worth the $.

Perfect Fit

I installed this with an Invidia N1 Cat back Exhuast (2002-2007 WRX / 2004-2007 STI) and it was a perfect drop-in fit. For reference, I have a 2004 WRX Wagon with OE downpipe. It pushes the exhaust tip out past the bumper a little more than I would like, but realistically this thing is only ads maybe a centimeter of length, so it's not a huge deal.
