Weak or standard OEM transmission mounts can allow drivetrain movement, resulting in inconsistent shift feel and reduced performance. The IAG Street Series Transmission Mount is engineered to control drivetrain movement during spirited driving, delivering a more precise and connected shift feel. Designed to fit 2002–2021 WRX, 2005–2009 Legacy GT, and 2004–2008 Forester XT models with 5-speed manual transmissions, this durable mount effectively reduces excessive vibrations, making it ideal for high-powered builds and demanding driving conditions.

Constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum, the Street Series mount features Black 75A durometer bushings that are slightly stiffer than Subaru GROUP N mounts. For greater performance, the mount’s stiffness can be upgraded with the IAG Competition Series Red 90A bushing kit (sold separately), providing even tighter control of drivetrain movement.

IAG’s flush hardware design simplifies installation, eliminating the need to disassemble the mount. Installation takes approximately 30 minutes using basic hand tools and a jack with jack stands, and swapping bushings can be done in just a few additional minutes.

The 75A bushings provide a balance of street-friendly comfort and performance, while the optional 90A bushings increase stiffness and reduce transmission movement under hard acceleration. Note: higher durometer bushings may increase NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) inside the cabin.
