IAG Red Timing Belt Kit w/ OEM Tensioner / Idlers and IAG Guide 2002-2014 WRX / 2004-2021 STI / 2005-2012 LGT / 2004-2013 FXT

The IAG Racing Timing Belt Kit is designed as a replacement for the OEM Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines. Included in the kit are high quality OEM idler pulleys, IAG's high strength red racing timing belt,  billet timing belt guide, and an OEM timing belt tensioner.

The included components are designed for long life and high performance. These kits function as an exact replacement for the OEM timing belt found on the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2005-2012 Legacy GT, and 2004-2013 Forester XT.

The IAG Performance Black Racing Timing Belt is designed to work with all Subaru EJ series engines. The high-strength Kevlar construction and attractive black color make it a great choice for your Subaru engine bay. We have performed extensive testing of this belt on our Spintron testing machine, as well as our fleet of racing vehicles. In testing, we found that these belts ensure accurate timing and unmatched performance.

IAG Black Racing belts are lightweight and utilize EPDM Rubber for increased durability and performance in all climates. The Kevlar construction is 300% stronger than the OEM Subaru timing belt, and is also three times more heat resistant. The belt teeth are made of H-NBR grade rubber for additional strength.

One of the most important components in the Subaru timing system is the timing belt tensioner. Aftermarket units are known to fail prematurely, which can cause catastrophic failure. The IAG Timing Belt Kit includes an OEM original equipment tensioner assembly direct from Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru's parent company.)

The idler pulleys included in the kit are also OEM quality units. On Subarus it is more common to experience a timing idler bearing failure than it is to experience a failure of the timing belt iteself. You can rest assured that these high quality components will provide a long, trouble-free life.

The IAG Performance billet timing belt guide is the best method to prevent your EJ engine from skipping a beat. Engineered and manufactured in our facility in Westminster, MD, each guide is machined from a single piece of 6061 billet aluminum and then anodized black for a protective finish. The guide is a strong, rigid replacement for the OEM piece and is also adjustable to set the proper clearance for the timing belt. This adjustability is especially useful when switching to an aftermarket timing belt where belt thickness may vary. The edges of the guide feature a soft corner that prevents wear on the flat side of the belt.
