The IAG Performance Windage Tray is designed to control oil movement within the crankcase by directing oil from the upper crankcase down into the lower crankcase and oil pan area. By keeping oil where it belongs, the windage tray helps reduce oil aeration and supports consistent oil pressure during high-performance driving.
High-revving engines are especially prone to oil aeration, where air becomes suspended in the oil. This condition can lead to pressure loss, pump cavitation, and accelerated engine wear. The IAG Performance Windage Tray addresses this issue by creating a physical barrier between the rotating crankshaft assembly and the oil supply.

Precision-formed louvers are strategically positioned to guide draining oil downward while preventing it from splashing back up into the path of the crankshaft and connecting rods.
