Weak or standard OEM transmission mounts can allow excessive drivetrain movement, negatively affecting shift timing and overall shift quality. This is especially noticeable in racing and high-performance driving, where vibration and load are significantly increased. The IAG Race Series Solid Transmission Mount is engineered to control drivetrain movement under these conditions, delivering a more direct and precise shift feel. It is designed to fit 2002–2021 Subaru WRX, 2005–2009 Subaru Legacy GT, and 2004–2008 Subaru Forester XT models equipped with 5-speed transmissions, making it well suited for high-powered builds and dedicated motorsports use.

The IAG Race Series Solid Transmission Mount provides exceptional support through its robust construction. It utilizes Race Series solid steel bushings that are considerably stiffer than Subaru Group N mounts, greatly reducing unwanted movement. The mount body itself is CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum for strength and durability. For those looking to tailor mount stiffness, the bushings can be swapped for the Street Series 75A black bushings or Competition Series 90A red bushings, sold separately.

A unique flush-hardware design allows the mount to be installed without disassembly, simplifying the process. Installation typically takes about 30 minutes using basic hand tools and a jack with jack stands. Bushing changes can be performed during installation with minimal additional time.

The mount comes pre-installed with solid steel race bushings for maximum drivetrain control and stability. The optional 90A bushings provide a slightly more compliant feel while maintaining strong support, while the 75A Street Series bushings offer the least rigidity with improved comfort compared to OEM mounts. Due to the solid construction and high durometer bushings, increased noise, vibration, and harshness should be expected inside the cabin.
