The IAG Performance Custom Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank is engineered for builders looking to achieve a clean, race-inspired engine bay in their 2004–2007 Subaru WRX or STI. By relocating the factory coolant expansion tank from the intake manifold to the passenger-side front strut tower, this design frees up valuable space—making it ideal for vehicles running rotated turbo kits or custom intake and charge piping.

Constructed from 1/8-inch thick aluminum sheet, each tank is precision waterjet cut, bent, and TIG welded for strength, durability, and a professional finish. The tank is equipped with a -8 AN coolant turbo return fitting, a -8 AN drain outlet fitting, and a ¼-inch barb overflow fitting, providing proper coolant flow and compatibility with performance cooling setups.

For straightforward installation, the expansion tank features two integrated mounting brackets and includes all necessary hardware. Each unit is powder-coated in either red or black for long-lasting protection and visual appeal, and finished with a laser-engraved IAG logo on the side for a premium touch.
