IAG Competition Series 6 Speed Transmission Mount 22-25 WRX / 04-21 STI / 07-09 Legacy GT

Lots of people have done this mod and the reviews of NVH are all over the map. First, let me just say that this mount paired with the Whiteline positive shift kit make for a firm, high-end shifter feel. There is no sponginess left. Highly recommend these done in tandom. As for NVH, I will break this down as my experience.
1 - Installed Cobb from and rear shift bushings. Definite whine from transmission that I didn’t hear before.
2 - Installed Perrin pitch stop. Definite vibration and rumble that I didn’t feel before particularly at start up and WOT.
3 - Installed IAG trans mount and Whiteline positive shift kit. A significant increase in all things transmission related. You can hear linkages moving and more whine particularly off throttle at lower speed.

None of this bothers me as I didn’t get a STI for creature comforts. I drive it daily and love all of the feedback the car gives me. There is a trade off on these mods for better shifts and if you drive with the windows up and radio off, you will hear them.

Amazing upgrade for your transmission. Pair this with a pitch stop mount and no more bucking in lower gears. Highly recommend! Put in new gearbox cross member mounts since you have to remove them to get to the transmission mount.

Super easy install. I’ve been having some false knock issues so decided to try this as a solution.
