The IAG Big MAF Intake is a high-performance short ram intake engineered to work with the OEM Subaru mass air-flow (MAF) sensor, providing a direct fit for 2008–2014 WRX and STI models. Designed to route air in the shortest, most direct path to the engine, this intake maximizes airflow and improves throttle response.
Constructed with a 3” diameter aluminum pipe, the Big MAF Intake increases airflow to the engine and enhances the maximum flow through the OEM MAF sensor. The kit includes a K&N high-flow cone air filter, designed to capture dirt while maintaining superior airflow for increased horsepower and torque. This washable and reusable filter can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning under normal highway conditions and is designed for the life of your vehicle.
The intake connects directly to your Subaru’s intake manifold via a high-grade silicone transition hose. Unlike traditional rubber hoses, silicone maintains flexibility and durability under extreme heat, preventing hardening, cracking, or dry rot over time.
Installation is simple: secure the included hose clamps at each end of the silicone hose and attach the OEM MAF sensor directly to the MAF port. To fully optimize performance and accommodate the larger airflow diameter, tuning is recommended after installation.
