Here, you are looking at the HKS TYPE-R full body kit for the 2022-2023 GR86.
Through vigorous testing, HKS has developed this stylish body kit with aerodynamics being a top priority. Designed to enhance stability at high speeds, the body kit redirects airflow helping enhance the downforce and reducing drag.
The HKS full Spoiler set produces aerodynamic refinement while providing a race-inspired look to your BRZ. This kit will increase the downforce while reducing drag to provide faster lap times needed for those weekend track events.
Inheriting the style of HKS racing cars, the design incorporates the style of GT cars into a street car spec kit. Featuring optimized fender size and silhouette, this kit aims towards the fastest time attack spec GR86 possible.
Incorporating carbon fiber in specific parts creates both a sense of luxury, and performance. This kit provides a more powerful look over the Type-S kit while keeping the body lines you love about the GR86.

Fender Design - Best matched with a 295 tire size, the front +55mm and rear +65mm over-fenders give the vehicle avant-garde style with a mix of GT car. To help improve stability during high speed, vortex generators are installed in specific areas. A dedicated panel design allows the use of the factory fuel lid. Quick fasteners are used to secure each panel.

Front Spoiler - CFRP barge panels are added to both ends of the front spoiler. An under panel is included to add further downforce to the front end and enhance high-speed stability by rectifying air flow under the body. In the attached image, Figure 1 highlights the increase in downforce enhanced in blue.

Side Skirt - The side skirts have been designed to take advantage of the stock sleek press lines without compromising them. The design of the skirts matches the front and rear downforce levels to improve underbody airflow, reduce lift, and minimalize drag-inducing turbulence.

Rear Under Spoiler - The unique fin-shaped rear spoiler rectifies the airflow around the rear of the vehicle to optimize the aerodynamic balance of downforce with the front spoiler. CFRP barge panels are added to each end to further assist in reducing drag, and provide an appearance reminiscent of the legendary HKS racing cars.

Front Canards - Based on experience with time attack machines, large carbon canards were adopted. The strong vertical vortex that is generated redirects turbulence away from the wheel well and improves high speed driving stability.

Ducktail Spoiler - Rectifies the flow of air above and below the body to enhance high-speed driving stability and adds downforce to the rear end of the vehicle.
