Inheriting the style of HKS racing cars, the Type-R kit design incorporates the style of GT cars into a street car spec kit. Featuring optimized fender size and silhouette, this kit aims towards the fastest time attack spec GR86 possible. 

To further accentuate the aerodynamic benefits offered by the widebody kit, HKS has developed a Canard set for the front bumper-fender. Based on experience with time attack machines, large carbon canards were adopted. The strong vertical vortex that is generated redirects turbulence away from the wheel well and improves high-speed driving stability.
