This capacity upgrade kit was developed by taking advantage of the knowledge and experience acquired through D1 Drift and time attack at Tsukuba Circuit by HKS Japan. This kit was designed exclusively for the FA20 engine by meticulous analysis and experimentation. HKS delivers this kit with "made in Japan" quality.

This kit is capable of withstanding 550ps and is ideal for those who are looking to upgrade the internals of their FA20. 

Piston Kit:

• Carefully selected specially forged raw materials used

• Replacing the head gasket enables both NA and Forced Induction applications

• In order to meet high power requirements, the compression ratio was optimized through strength analysis and testing, allowing for flexibility in the setup, and the use of high boost levels. 

• The piston crown had 3D design in consideration of the stock direct injection system

• The short-height piston design eliminates potential issues caused by overhang from the piston skirts

• Friction, weight, and other design properties were all taken into account to suit the needs of the short height pistons

Connecting Rods:

• Specifically designed to suit the longer stroke

• Special-size crank pins were implemented to eliminate the need for modifications to the block

• High-strength I-Beam design

Crankshaft Stroke:

• HKS Forged Crankshaft 

• Perfect Pin Journal size was selected by meticulous analysis and experiment with the extended stroke

• Carefully designed weights balance the engine for maximum efficiency 

Stock Bore Compatibility: 

• To maintain block strength, this kit retains the factory 86mm piston bore

• No need for boring, honing, or sleeves makes this a cost-effective install
