HKS 1.1 Bar Limited Edition Radiator Cap

Installed on a first generation cross truck with OEM radiator. Running the vehicle, hard or towing and full cargo. The STI cap seemed like too high of a spec no problems thus far after 1000 miles, no leaks, no overheating.

I went ahead and upgraded my cap because I heard the oems were not the best especially after a couple thousand miles. I put mine on the coolant tank expansion. The highest point where it counts

Super solid choice for dressing up the engine bay a bit, screws on super snug, and looks great, seems to change color based on viewing angle pretty dramatically as well. Kind of a cool little bonus feature.

Installed on the expansion tank on my 21 STI. Great part from a great brand. I do not recommend putting this on your radiator as it’s a lower pressure rating.

I had a stock radiator cap that stopped functioning and wasn’t allowing coolant to flow back in to the radiator Once the temperature dropped. it was oddly causing my top radiator hose to implode under vacuum. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen …Well not really, but it was crazy… so quick thinking, I got another stock radiator cap and it solved the problem but then I saw the HKS and I had to have it. it’s a premium upgrade made in Japan and certainly better than what I got over-the-counter at the local Subaru parts department. now I need another one for my other Subi.
