Hawk has developed a unique ceramic composite specifically to meet the ultra-low dust and low noise attributes of Original Equipment, while maintaining the high friction levels professional brake tuners have grown to expect from Hawk Performance.

Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads do not compromise performance and offer a solution to many consumers' number one complaint: DUST! Performance Ceramic Brake Pads also feature a fade resistant, linear friction profile that allows your ABS brake system to work more effectively. Additionally, being engineered to reduce brake NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), this is a premium disc brake pad that delivers excellent performance mile after mile.

  • All Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Hawk pads are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors.
  • 100-650 F operating temperatures
  • 100-450 F optimal temperature range

Brake pads are wear items and as such, should be inspected regularly and replaced as necessary. Pads should be replaced when approximately 1/8th inch of friction material remains on the steel backing plate.

Note: Even though Hawk Performance burnishes its brake pads as a final step in the factory, all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.

Hawk pads

Purchase these with the DBA 4000 slotted rotors. Braking feels great. What I like the most is minimal brake dust.

Solid Product

I waited a couple of weeks to write a review after the installation in order to allow me to use them in my normal driving routine. The main thing that caught my eye when purchasing was the amount of brake dust that was emitted in comparison to oem. These do not disappoint in the slightest. Its not even close. These also have a much better stopping capability than the oem. I also noticed, because I live in a location with plenty of hills, when using the emergency brake while parked the pads don't slip like the oem brakes would on occassion. Despite my rear oem brakes having plenty of life in them still I had still swapped them with these when I changed my front pads. Overall I am very happy with this purchase as I sure my wheels are as well.
