  • Fits most Subaru models (Impreza/WRX/STI/Legacy/Forester/Baja/BRZ) and Toyota (FRS/86) equipped with a 35 series battery and two J-hooks, as well as most OEM-sized/lightweight batteries under 7" wide.

INSTALLATION:

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN Tiedown as it could cause the powdercoat to crack and wear prematurely. Torque to OEM 5-6ft/lbs.

Easy install perfect fit!

Now this looks good in the engine bey. The old rusted one was terrible. While I was there I also polished the two metal rods. Now it's clean. Easy install

Grimmspeed Tiedown

Great cosmetic addition to the engine bay, but I strongly recommend checking your tiedown J hooks before ordering and installing. Mine were rusted pretty badly and that made install a little frustrating and didnt have replacements at the time. Rust also impacts the "overtightening" so I am pretty sure mine is way overtightened causing some issues on the powercoat.
