INSTALLATION:

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN Tiedown as it could cause the powdercoat to crack and wear prematurely. Torque to OEM 5-6ft/lbs.

Another splash of red with my Grimmspeed Lightweight Battery Tiedown

I was looking for some trim items to brighten up my engine comparment after the recent IAG engine swap and performance build. Grimmspeed had a variey of things that caught my eye and as you can see, I dove in with those red parts to brighten things up under the hood. Part of that was the Lightweight Battery Tiedown. I saw one bad review for this product and after I installed mine, I can't see where that review came from. Mine fit the DieHard battery perfectly and there were no issues with installation or warping. The Tiedown is strong, lightweight and looks great. I would certianly recommend it if you want to replace the old plastic part holding your battery. As always, Subimods delivered quickly, well packaged with no issues, just great service that keeps me coming back for more!
