GReddy Neodymium Magdrain MD-04 Magnetic Oil Drain Plug M16x1.5

The GReddy Magnetic Oil Drain Plug has a powerful neodymium magnet in the top. The neodymium magnet is one of the most powerful magnets on the market. By using the "GReddy Magdrain" plug, you can help reduce the amount of abrasive materials in your engine, while extending the life of your engine.

Due to a different oil pan design, some Subaru OEM oil pans have an internal screen on the inside of the pan where the drain plug sits. If the screen exists the tip of the drain plug will be too long and will not be able to sit flush in the pan. There is no way to tell if your car has this screen aside from using a flashlight and checking the drain plug hole during an oil change.

Note: In late 2010, Subaru began switching the engine oil drain plug size on certain models from M20 to the smaller M16x1.5. If your drain plug requires a 14mm wrench, your vehicle uses the M16 plug.
