I know what you’re thinking, “Damn Dom, you did a dress up part? AND IT’S BILLET?” Yes and no, mostly no. This battery tie down is a problem solver and easily makes it the best tie down on the market (PLUS IT’S BILLET). The factory tie down- and most aftermarket ones- is such a pain to work with. You pick up one side to get a j-bolt in and the other falls out. You can barely see behind the battery and you’re trying to get the j-bolt to hook the body, but the strap is restricting your movement and you just sit there fighting it for far longer than you should.  This tie down is special. You just simply place it on the battery, hook a j-bolt to the body, slide it into the slot and run the nut down. The nut captures the bolt into the tie down and makes installation a breeze. Installation might even be faster than my first time with a girl back in high school.

Now you’re asking, “Dom, why is it so expensive?” Sadly that’s the messed up world we’re living in right now. Material costs are through the roof (especially BILLET) and each one of these cost me a fortune to make. Combining crazy high material costs and more complex machining processes, my cost is nearly double what the crappy tie downs sell for retail. So while I wish I could sell them for around 30 bucks, I’d easily be losing that much per unit sold.
