DETAILS

The GetaDomTune Cylinder 4 Chamber Cooling Mod was designed to increase coolant flow to cylinder #4 head area. The additional coolant flow helps reduce cylinder #4 coolant temps and keeps the temps more uniform with the rest of the cylinders. This helps reduce knock and detonation in cylinder #4, which is known to cause the dreaded EJ ringland failure. Keep your EJ happy by installing this kit. 

Subimods offers the newest v5 Kit which includes custom formed EPDM Rubber Hose(for better coolant tolerance, better fitment and easier installation), custom GDT 23mm clamps, Anodized 6061 Fitting (further reduced diameter for improved heater performance), Aluminum Alloy Fitting (for better corrosion resistance).

Kit Contents: 

  • Custom machined and anodized 6061 fitting.
  • Aluminum T
  • Custom Formed Rubber hose for universal fitment on all specified EJs
  • GDT custom made 304SS embossed, non perforated, rounded edge worm clamps.

Easy install + helpful

I love this "mod." It's not difficult to install, and keeps your motor running cooler and longer. Easiest to install when the motor is out of the vehicle, but can still be done otherwise.

Does what it needs to, pretty straight forward may need to be trimmed to clear steering shaft

Worth the piece of mind

This is an essential mod for EJ engines and is a great piece of mind. Anything that helps protect the engine is a must have. This is easiest to install when the engine is out, but is absolutely doable with it in the car.
