Your factory molded upper radiator hose can endure extreme pressures, and extreme temperatures which will cause the hose to become soft over time. Eventually the factory hose could give in, and burst. Gates who are known for making exceptional quality OEM maintenance products have made an OEM replacement radiator hose that you can count on.

These have been engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, which is the leading cause of hose failure. They have also been pre-shaped to fit and to ensure for a perfect fitment.

The Gates hoses feature aramid, or rayon knit reinforcement which is resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. And it has a temperature range from -40 degrees C, to +100 degrees C.

The upper radiator hose may need to be trimmed so it does not hit the alternator pulley.

Tube goodness

Nothing wild to say, quality is good, needed to fix the hole that my fan cut into the old one. Have had hoses in the past that didn't fit from other brands. Thankfully this is not that! Fit great

Unlike the defective lower radiator hose Subimods sent me, the upper hose was fine.

Gates is OEM, nothing special, keeps the green stuff moving around the engine - woot woot - 5 stars? No why should it be? 3 stars yes, it did what it was intended to do. Yay. Kudos for SubiMods for stocking it - but that's not a review for the product.
