DETAILS

These V2 FR-Specs are designed from the ground up for racing. They have higher spring rates and valving to suit performance track driving at no cost. The FR-Spec line features a solid aluminum, pillow-ball camber plate that significantly reduces suspension deflection while giving full alignment control. They have a mild drop range designed to maximize shock travel and fluid capacity for consistent, long lasting performance.

    Great Coilover overall

    I purchased these shocks last year for a project I was building. The car is pretty much my daily so I didn't want a shitty ride. Initially I tried the softest, the the hardest settings but neither was perfect. Finally I settled for right in the middle. It was livable but the car tended to hop under power in hard turns. My tuner went up 6 more clicks in the front and 4 in the rear. They ride amazing now! I'm really happy with them. The ride height adjustment is great because you don't have to mess with the preload. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of 5 is due to a still undiagnosed clunking sound when I turn occasionally. I've taken the wheels off and ensured everything is installed properly and tight. Other than that, they're a great budget coilover. Also, they are domestic and rebuildable so that is a huge plus.

    Had these installed and aligned by my local shop, drives straight and true like Oem, noticeable spring rate change, they do make a noise when hitting imperfections in the road or reflectors due to metal top hats vs rubber, gone way over posted speed guides with nothing to report.

    Thank you for the detailed positive review. As with many suspension upgrades there are going to be a few extra squeaks and rattles here and there especially when stiffening up the ride. But the performance and handling usually out weighs it all!

    You get what you paid for

    It is decent, I’m actually afraid to drive the car above 70mph, as it shakes even after alignment. The steering and handling above 70mph is scary, it feels like it is a little loose. It makes squeeze noise in the front when you do hit a bump or the road is bouncy. I should have spend the extra $600 to get the FortuneAuto
