This is a Exedy OEM Replacement clutch, almost identical to the clutch that came in your vehicle in every way. Exedy is one of the largest independent OEM clutch suppliers and is the supplier to all 13 Japanese manufactures. This clutch is not intended for race use and is designed to handle stock power and is the stock replacement unit 

2005-2009 Legacy GT requires the use of a 2006-2007 WRX flywheel for proper fitment.

Do you drive a 5MT Subaru?
Do you like the gears shifting smoothly?
Do you want the cheaper fiction plate to break before the more expensive transmission?
If you answered YES to all 3, then this is the clutch replacement for you.

Jokes aside, this is how you get some longevity out of the factory 5 speed manual transmission. This unit is designed to slip at a torque less than the torque limits of the gears. You can drive this clutch as hard as you like and it will slip to protect the transmission. Stage 1, 2, 3, and up are designed to slip at higher torque numbers, those torque numbers may be above the limits of the Subaru 5MT.
