EXEDY flywheels combine low weight, low inertia, and high thermal capacity, making them ideal for lightly tuned race cars, including drag racing, autocross, rally events, and street use. Constructed from solid billet chromoly steel or forged chromoly steel, these flywheels are engineered to reduce weight and inertia for improved engine response.

Many models feature airflow-optimized designs to enhance clutch cooling, while the ring gear teeth are fully integrated into the steel, eliminating the risk of separation seen with aluminum flywheels due to differing expansion rates.

EXEDY steel billet and forged flywheels are SFI-approved and rigorously tested to 15,000–18,000 RPM, ensuring durability and reliable performance under extreme conditions.
