The Subaru WRX & STI come with outdated halogen bulbs for the map, dome, vanity mirror, trunk, and license plate lights. They emit an unimpressive orange light that not only is unappealing to the eye, but also not very bright. With the Driven Media LED Upgrade Kit, you get everything you need to replace each halogen bulb on the car with a super bright LED bulb that emits a cool white light and produces a significant amount more light output to increase visibility.

WRX/STI Base Kit Contents:

I’ve seen the light, literally….

Holy cow! These things are bright. Install was super easy, just a pry tool and about 15 minutes to do dome, vanity, trunk and plate lights. Definitely worth the money, even at night I can see the fine detail of anything around.

Get this to go from boring glow, to surface of the son bright on the cheap.

This little change is a game changer. Makes EVERYTHING glow bright white. Almost like daylight. Makes it very easy to see anything in your car if you want or need to. The visor lights help if you are trying to put contacts in, or makeup I'd imagine. Best of all, the tag lights aid greatly with reverse visibility in low light. These things shine several feet back, and for the price, definitely a good start to build your car.

Added to my '22 WRX as part of the first wave of upgrades and modifications. Difficulty is near non-existent, and can be done easily in under 30 minutes. Just keep your old bulbs as spares, or sell them if you plan to keep your car. Installation video will be out when I air my build series. Will update this review with relevant links and pictures when it goes live!
