The Subaru WRX & STI come with outdated halogen bulbs for the map, dome, vanity mirror, trunk, and license plate lights. They emit an unimpressive orange light that not only is unappealing to the eye, but also not very bright. With the Driven Media LED Upgrade Kit, you get everything you need to replace each halogen bulb on the car with a super bright LED bulb that emits a cool white light and produces a significant amount more light output to increase visibility.

Almost too bright

First, at the time of writing, the description on the site for this item seems to be for a different item. Maybe just copy/pasted incorrectly.

But anyways, these lights were very easy to install since they are just the bulbs. Only involves popping off whatever cover, removing the old bulb, and putting the new one in.

I do think they are a bit too bright however. The screenshot included is with the two map lights on (I don't remember if the dome light was on at the time). Having them on at night it's basically daytime in the car, and they are a bit too bright to look directly at as well, including the vanity lights. I don't mind too much, since it helps see obviously, but something to keep in mind. Overall a good product. Includes a plastic trim remover tool.
