DBA's mid-series enhanced performance rotor features Thermal Stability Profiling for improved heat handling. Thermo-Graphic paint markings on the rotor allow for effective heat monitoring. When the painted lines change color, you can see the temperature that the rotors have reached allowing you to accurately match the proper brake pad compound. The 4000 drilled rotors have a unique slot and drill design which allows for the gasses to escape that is trapped between the pad and the rotor, which ensures consistent contact.

These key features make this a great rotor for street use, and the weekend worrier who demands the most out of their car on and off the track.

So far very impressed.

Bought a whole kid of front and read DBA 4000's with a set of DBA pads. Also swapped in some steel lines. First few drives have been excellent. 200 miles through the Tail of the Dragon and other local to me TN backroads in one day and I was pushing the entire drive. They preformed flawlessly.

Best rotors money can buy, before going up to 2 piece

These rotors are fantastic. I know, they are pricey, get over it, they are for high-performance cars and they are not cheap. if you're looking for great rotors with awesome heat dissipation and something that pairs well with high-stopping power brakes. Look no further. When it comes time to replace, if i do not go up to 2 piece rotors, i'll stay with these DBA 4000s. However, when i do go to an even higher level of the rotor, it will be with DBA.

I did not take pictures of the rears, they look identical to the fronts i listed in the picture. The gold color perfectly accents the rings on the 2016 STI
