• Linkage System: Steel linkage with 3-piece rod ends eliminates cable slop, delivering lightning-fast mechanical shifts. Even under aggressive cornering or hard acceleration, you will be confident with the stress-free shifting of the linkage system.
• Centering Mechanism: The billet aluminum centering mechanism features twin detents and a firm ceramic-coated torsion spring ensuring perfect gear engagement, and banishing missed shifts forever.
• Tool-Free Shift Height: Adjust shift knob height over an inch from its lowest point (lowest point equivalent to OEM height) by twisting the leather boot collar—no tools, no disassembly—tailoring the throw and shift knob height to your street or track style.
• Cable-Free Reverse Lockout: A fully integrated reverse lockout design combines the 5th & 6th gear shift stop with the reverse lockout. With increased rigidity for the shift stop, you'll get the most precise feedback when selecting these gears. This means a smaller overall footprint, and no need to adjust the shift stop!
• 1st/2nd gear shift stop: Shift stop is easier to adjust and integrated onto the housing of the shifter saving additional space and time during install. Rigidity is also increased to give an even firmer feel when engaging the stop.

• OEM Shift Knob Compatible: Factory shift knob thread specs on the DM-2 allow for any shift knob which is compatible with a Subaru to be used.
• Compatibility with the DARKMATTERX Billet Shift Trim Kit Subaru WRX (2015-2021): A revision has been made on the DM-2 linkage which now allows compatibility for the Billet Shift Trim Kit to be used in conjunction with the DM-2 Shifter.
• Short Throw Shift Plate: Constructed from CNC-machined billet stainless steel, to withstand the toughest driving conditions. A direct plug and play replacement for the OEM shift plate makes the installation seamless. The included counterweight is optional is a heavier shift feel is desired. The DM-2 bolts straight the shift plate eliminating any rattling or play present with the OEM shift plate.
• DM-2 Shifter Box: Seals out the heat and noise for smoother, quieter shifts! Carbon Fiber Nylon body with closed-cell foam and ruber seals that minimizes road noise and heat transfer. CAD-designed from a 3D chassis scan for a no-modification install.
