The DM-2 Shifter Box is a high-quality add on for any DM-2 shifter and is proudly made in the USA! Adding this box will completely seal off your shifter from any outside air or heat. It has been designed in CAD, starting with a 3D scan of the vehicles chassis, to ensure a proper fit. The Carbon Fiber Nylon body has multiple rubber and foam seals on its mating surfaces to ensure a tight seal around every component. No modifications necessary!

Great Finish

I bought this along with the DM-2. Fits great and looks great too. Kind of a bummer that it’ll seldom grace the view of people though. I didn’t drive my car without the box, so I can’t speak to the claims of reducing sound and temperature. I can say that I don’t have any complaints with either of those after a week of driving both in the city and on the highway.

Worth the buy.

Putting this box in wasn't a walk in the park. The metal piece was a real pain to fit around the axle. Plus, the foam lining didn't seal up perfectly, so a little noise still sneaks through. But hey, the rubber boot made a huge difference! It feels so much smoother and quieter now. Overall, I'm really happy with how much quieter it is and how much better the shifting feels.
