Here, you are looking at the Cusco Quick-release rear strut tower bar for the 2022 WRX.

The classic design of the Cusco OS Type features a tubular aluminum oval shaft with a high polish finish. The end plates are painted the traditional Cusco blue and come with all the required hardware for installation. It bolts on in minutes using normal hand tools.

  • Bolt-on - The main bar can be removable by hand when needed.
  • Require to remove a piece of the lower portion of side cover (Stapled) to install side brackets

Great Fit and Finish

Instructions for cutting the trunk side liners are spot on, no need to rip the staples. Just pop the two trim pins above, cut where they say, and you can tuck the middle flap between the arms after installing the brackets. My tip, don't tighten the brackets down without the bar snug in place. Avoids any misalignment installing the bar.

Easy install

Super easy install. Just have to pull out some precut pieces and bolt it in. Noticeable stability in the rear after install.
Very easy to take the bar out when you need to as well. Great for sliding my snowboard underneath on the way to the mountains!

It just works!

Good quality product

Easy to install but did require the removal of a couple of sections of liner. The instructions are in Japanese but it didn't require looking for a video online.

Don't neglect the back

Easy install on the 22 WRX. Just had to cut out the padding (easy tear and already pre-cut where it's easy to tear neatly) and install the bar. Really stiffens up the car (with front strut bar combo). Worth the safety and stiffness for the hard turning.

Yes it is very easy to install. Instructions were in Japanese but thanks to technology, so many tutorial videos.
