Here, you are looking at the Cusco Quick-release rear strut tower bar for the 2022 WRX.

The classic design of the Cusco OS Type features a tubular aluminum oval shaft with a high polish finish. The end plates are painted the traditional Cusco blue and come with all the required hardware for installation. It bolts on in minutes using normal hand tools.

Very convenient

Nice piece of hardware

This bar was really easy to install. Make sure you install it with the bar locked into the mounts. I was worried my oem rubber trunk mat would have to be cut to fit this strut bar, but it slid in underneath it perfectly. No real modification necessary besides removing the staple carpet covers. I can feel a slight reduction in understeer under throttle in turns. I previously only had a front strut tower brace, and this is a must to go along with it.

Great Fit and Finish

Instructions for cutting the trunk side liners are spot on, no need to rip the staples. Just pop the two trim pins above, cut where they say, and you can tuck the middle flap between the arms after installing the brackets. My tip, don't tighten the brackets down without the bar snug in place. Avoids any misalignment installing the bar.

Easy install

Super easy install. Just have to pull out some precut pieces and bolt it in. Noticeable stability in the rear after install.
Very easy to take the bar out when you need to as well. Great for sliding my snowboard underneath on the way to the mountains!
